About Me
Ryan Waltemate is a 4th-year Computer Science student at Oregon State University with interests in software development, game development, and IT systems. While his primary focus is game development, his experience spans a broad range of computing disciplines including systems administration and general software engineering.
Through coursework and independent projects, he has worked with multiple programming languages and tools including Python, C, C++, C#, JavaScript, Kotlin, Unity, and Godot. He is also comfortable working across both Windows and Linux environments and using Git for version control.
His practical experience includes game development projects as well as IT-focused work such as managing a Linux-based homelab server using Docker and Ubuntu Server.

WreakIR - Senior Project
A tech demo using OptiTrack's TrackIR based on the 1986 game Rampage.
OVERCHARGE
An arcade style racer based on Mario Kart's simple yet deep mechanics and F-Zero GX's skill based mastery and aesthetics.
Homelab
A repurposed Dell OptiPlex 7050 configured as a 24/7 home server running Ubuntu Server and Docker. Used for experimenting with self-hosted services, system administration, and containerized deployments.
